The Basis of Remote Work: Accountability
In a remote work environment, your value is defined by measurable results, not physical presence. Your performance is assessed strictly through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Result Areas (KRAs).
Your output is your presence. Employment and compensation are directly tied to your ability to consistently meet agreed-upon goals.
Success depends on mutual, results-driven collaboration. High performance is recognized and rewarded.
Focus on delivering outcomes that add value to all parties involved. Avoid assumptions, excuses, or entitlement.
The company evaluates performance—not intent, effort, or justifications. Repeated failure to meet targets indicates a mismatch with role expectations.
In such cases, the appropriate next step is to explore alternative employment.
Consequences of Underperformance:
- Failure to meet weekly KRAs for three consecutive weeks, or cumulative KPIs for three weeks, will lead to termination.
- Dishonesty, negativity, complaining, or fabricated stories result in immediate termination without compensation.
- Timely compensation reflects your contribution. Non-payment signals unmet performance standards and a breakdown of employment.
Clarity, Context, and Consequences:
Roles at IoK® are designed to ensure growth, cultural alignment, and operational effectiveness. Responsibilities—especially those triggered by specific events—must be carried out with urgency, precision, and accountability.
- All event-based tasks must be acted upon within 24 hours, unless a different deadline is specified in writing.
- No assumptions or informal delays are acceptable.
- Failure to act within the defined timeframe—without prior written approval—will be treated as dereliction of duty, attracting disciplinary and financial consequences.
- This policy applies uniformly across all roles with time-sensitive responsibilities.
